Welcome to my website!  My husband Jim and I have owned Rhodesian Ridgebacks since 1997, when we got our first puppy Baxter (Jesmyster's Hataki Jon Luke).  We fostered, fell in love with, and ultimately adopted Buddy through Rhodesian Ridgeback Rescue in 1999.  Baxter and Buddy taught us a lot about Rhodesian Ridgebacks and brought us joy for 12+ years.  When they both passed in 2009, we added Eight-Ball, our pit-mix rescue to our family.  I missed having a Ridgeback and wanted to try conformation showing so, Leon (K-Tai King Leon of Brenmar) joined our family in 2010 as a show/breeding prospect puppy.  Leon was my introduction to many dog sports.  Our pack has grown over the years, and all of my dogs have been or are currently competing in multiple dog sports. We enjoy conformation showing, rally obedience, competition obedience, agility, lure coursing, and FAST CATs (straight sprints).

I am a member of both the Rhodesian Ridgeback Club of the United States and the Northwest Rhodesian Ridgeback Club and abide by both club's code of ethics.

If you are interested in the breed in general, please feel free to contact me.  There are also some great resources available online.  Ridgebacks are wonderful dogs, but they are not suited for everyone.  They are high energy when they are young and need proper exercise.  Training, especially early, proper socializing is a must!  Some sites to visit to learn more about ridgebacks are the About the Breed page on the NWRRCsite and the articles listed on the Breeders List page for RRCUS.

I hope you enjoy my site and please contact me if you have any questions.
