Juniper/June (Black Rock's Jumping Juniper Junebug JC CGC)

June is out of Phoenix's second litter, bred to the handsome livernose boy Owen (CH Coso N Zamaradi's Hollywood Hearthrob MC DCAT CGC TKN). June is the clown of the house and is a ton of fun. She is an independent girl who only wants to do things SHE thinks is fun. She loves conformations showing, hikes, being a pest to her housemates, and cuddling. She enjoys training and doing just about anything me, but we still have not found her favorite performance sport. We are currently competing in conformation (just 2 points to go for her CH title) and training in rally obedience and agility. All of June's health screenings are complete and we are expecting her first litter during the winter of 2023. Phoenix (CH, IntCH Toroa's Phoenix Rising at Black Rock BN, RA, SC, OA, OAJ, CGCA TKI)

Phoenix joined our family in July of 2014. Phoenix is out of Cindy McFadden's breeding of Doc (DC Toroa's Big Bang SC) to Capella (GCH Kakily The Stars are Out At Toroa SC).

Phoenix is game to try just about anything I ask of her and we have enjoyed trying lots of new dog sports together. Phoenix and I have competed in conformation, agility, lure coursing, FAST CATs, rally obedience, and competition obedience. Phoenix and I are currently working towards a CD title in hopes of earning a RRCUS Versatility Certificate.

Phoenix has had two beautiful litter of puppies.

Our Girls

Quinn (CH Black Rock's Dark Side of the Moon SC BCAT CGC)

Quinn is out of Phoenix's first litter with Otto (GCHB Manzantia's Moving Violation at SDK RN JC CA). Quinn is our beauty queen, but also very full of intensity. Quinn and I are competing in conformation, lure coursing, FAST CATs, and barn hunt. Quinn is our first home-bred champion and earned all her points from the bred-by-exhibitor class.

Cinder (IntCH, BIF FC Mwen-Yezi's Firestorm of Black Rock RI, SC, NJ, BCAT, CGCA)

Cinder is our first livernose ridgeback. She's a wild one, but also a real sweetheart! She is a true family dog and is very dedicated to her people. She is happy doing just about anything if it involves being with us.

Cinder's favorite thing is lure coursing! In only two trials, she earned both her majors towards her Field Championship title and has gone Best in Field! Cinder now is a field champion. Cinder and I have also competed in agility and rally obedience. She still lure courses on occasion, but mostly enjoys being farm dog and being close to home. She's one of a kind!

Luna (Black Rock's New Moon Rising RA)

Luna is also out of Phoenix's first litter with Otto (GCHB Manzantia's Moving Violation at SDK RN JC CA). Luna is fun-loving and sweet. An injury as a puppy resulted in her not being able to compete in most performance activities. Luna loves to train and we are having a blast in rally obedience. She was in her first trial in December of 2021 and quickly earned her rally novice and intermediate titles, with all but one score over 90! Luna is currently competing in beginner-novice and novice obedience and rally excellent.
